Updated 14th December 2018

Not a great deal to report on this week as it was a short week for me,  having had to head back home to Scotland on Wednesday afternoon.  This has meant that I  have not taken the short walk from our office at Cammell Laird to the SDA in the nearby dry-dock.

A view from aft of the SDA with the Aft Gantry and the main crane visible.

Looking down into the dry-dock.

A view down the port side of the SDA.  Like the James Clark Ross most of the work will be carried out on the Starboard side and when berthing it will normally be Starboard side to the quay,  which means that the Port side will be rarely seen.

Whilst I may not have had a chance to visit the #NewPolarShip,  there has been plenty of activity on board with a large number of people working on board in all disciplines.
